OUR COVID-19 PROCEDURES

Our business remains open and our team is fully prepared to serve your home exterior needs, while also protecting your family and ours from the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus.

EXOVATIONS of Atlanta company owner Roone Unger

Per Governor Kemp's Shelter-in-Place Order, EXOVATIONS is identified as an Essential Business (construction - where all employees conduct work outdoors); therefore, we are still open to serve your home exterior project needs, but the safety of your family and our team remains our top priority.

I could not be more proud of the commitment and dedication of our team members who quickly learned and adopted our stringent COVID-19 procedures in order to protect your family, your home and our team, while continuing to serve you ... providing improvement projects for your home's exterior.

Our offices are temporarily closed and our entire team is now working remotely from home to limit any exposure and potential spreading of COVID-19 to their families as well as yours.

We have embraced these current challenges as an opportunity to better ourselves for the circumstances of the present as well as the future.

We appreciate your understanding and support during these unprecedented times!

Roone Unger, CEO

Sales Consultations

We are continuing to provide free sales consultations for any home exterior project, including roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters and porches.

Option 1: Outdoor Consultation with Distancing

Instead of our usual in-home appointments, our sales team members will either conduct the meeting completely outside of your home, wearing masks and gloves, and at a 6 ft distance or completely virtually.

Option 2: Virtual Consultation with Pre-Measuring

Virtual sales consultation appointments allow us to meet with you by means of video conferencing software, so that we can still see each other and share our screen for viewing product samples, sketches, color selections and your quote. Prior to your scheduled virtual appointment, your Sales Consultant will provide a day that they will be at your home to measure all areas that you want us to quote. Measuring does not require a face-to-face meeting.

Project Installations

Our entire installation team has completed their advanced COVID-19 safety training and been equipped with PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and job site safety equipment to protect you, your family, your home and themselves from the potential spread of COVID-19. Here's what you can expect each step of the way on your EXOVATIONS remodeling project:

Pre-Construction Meeting

Just before your scheduled Pre-Construction meeting, we ask that you make sure that all pets are safely secured and children are asked to stay inside.

Your EXOVATIONS Project Manager will call you upon their arrival to your scheduled Pre-Construction Meeting. They will invite you to meet them outside in 10 minutes. During that time, Project Managers will first completely sanitize the surfaces of all devices (phone, tablet, etc.) to be used during your meeting. Then they will sanitize their hands, put on nitrile protection gloves and a fabric mask fully covering their nose and mouth.

During your meeting, your Project Manager will maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet away from you at all times. He will confirm all components of your project scope, materials, colors and any other details pertaining to your project. He will also measure everything again to ensure that all items ordered for your project are exactly the size required.

You will then receive your detailed, written project schedule detailing the days you can expect to have workers at your home, the days (if any) no one will be at your home and your project completion date.

At the conclusion of your meeting, your Project Manager will remove and dispose of his gloves and once again wipe down all surfaces of any device used during the meeting. Fabric masks are washed daily and replaced after 2 weeks.

EXOVATIONS COVID-19 Protocol Yard Sign

Day Before Construction Begins

Prior to your project starting, your Project Manager will drop by your home to prepare the project site for your installation team. After sanitizing their hands and putting on nitrile protection gloves, he will first place a COVID-19 Protocol Sign in your yard at the street. This sign serves as a reminder to all team members how important it is to never enter a job site if they have been around anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

You will also notice a table-style sink connected to the water faucet nearest the work area. The sink will be used by all EXOVATIONS team member before starting any work on your home, before and after any breaks taken, and again at the end of the day.

Outdoor Construction Protocol

Using the sink setup by your Project Manager, all EXOVATIONS team members working on your project will sanitize their hands upon arriving to your home. They will then put on their PPE which includes safety glasses (sunglasses or plastic glasses), buff-style protection masks and nitrile construction-grade protection gloves.

Team members will also remove gloves, wash and put on new gloves after each break taken and again at the end of the day. After removing their protection mask or buff, each team member will take them home for daily washing.

Indoor Construction Protocol (if necessary)

If your project includes a window, door or any other service requiring interior finishes, then our team members will need to come inside your home. Using the sink setup by your Project Manager, all EXOVATIONS team members working on your project will sanitize their hands upon arriving to your home. They will then put on their PPE which includes clear, safety glasses, buff-style protection masks, nitrile construction-grade protection gloves and an EPA approved full protection suit covering head to toe.

Before starting any work inside your home, we will roll out plastic sheeting across the flooring where we will be working. At the end of the project day, we will collect all trash, completely wipe down all surfaces where we worked, and remove and dispose of trash and plastic sheeting.

Team members will also remove gloves and wash and put on new gloves after each break taken and again at the end of the day. All gloves and suits will be disposed and removed from your property. After removing their protection mask or buff, each team member will take them home for daily washing.
