EXOVATIONS named 2013 Market Leader
EXOVATIONS was recently contacted by Professional Remodeler Magazine for a front cover photo opportunity after being named 2013 Market Leader by the publication. Kyle Clapham wrote this about EXOVATIONS in the magazine publication, ” Exovations ( featured in this month’s cover) found itself in a situation similar to many of this year’s Market Leaders when the average job size plummeted in 2011.
The Cumming, GA.-based exterior remodeler had to take on more projects in order to make ends meet and, as a result, grew revenues just 3% from 2011 to 2012. Despite the struggle, Exovations kept its eye toward the future and enacted as a savy plan to capialize in 2013 when the market improved.”
President and co-owner, Roone Unger, stated,” We scraped and dug and cut some deals in 2011. In 2012, we really got focused on raising our gross margin.”
EXOVATIONS boosted its gross margin by 4 percent in 2012 even though the remodeler’s sales fell more than 10% from 2011. As a result, the company beat it’s first quarter projections this year by 10% and projects revenues at least 15% higher than 2012.
