Williamsburg Style Portico
What is a Williamsburg-Style Portico?
The Williamsburg portico is a dignified, historically inspired entry feature that brings classic Colonial American elegance and timeless curb appeal to any home's exterior. Defined by its symmetrical design, refined columns, and stately architectural proportions, this portico style creates a formal entryway that feels prestigious, welcoming, and rich with historic charm. The Williamsburg portico pairs beautifully with Colonial-style homes, brick exteriors, and traditional East Coast properties.
At EXOVATIONS, our Williamsburg porticos are built with round PVC columns for exceptional durability and low-maintenance performance, with the option to add brick or stone column bases for an authentic Williamsburg aesthetic. These classic accents reinforce the portico's formal, symmetrical character, enhancing curb appeal, boosting home value, and making a distinguished first impression rooted in American architectural tradition.
Features of the Williamsburg Portico Style
A gable roof overhangs the sides of the porch, allowing it to let water run off the roof. This porch roof easily fits a deep porch if desired, and can easily cover a larger area without compromising the roof's strength. Support posts reinforce the two roof ends not attached to the house.
